The original house on the property was a quintessential Eastlake style Victorian, constructed around 1890.  It underwent major renovation, likely in the 1920's, when the Colonial Revival style was popular.  The house was neglected and left abandoned for many years.  It was demolished in 2021, as it had fallen into a state of disrepair.  Prior to demolition, Shore Point Architecture discovered original scroll-cut gable ornamentation within the walls, where it sat for approximately 100 years, fully protected from the elements.  The ornamentation was carefully removed, restored, and incorporated into the design of the new house, bringing the historic Eastlake charm back to the property.
